I love this product!  We recently moved and I was trying to find how I could order it online!  Could you offer it through drugstore.com?

by on ‎08-16-2012 08:06 AM

Thank you for your interest, SF! Unfortunately, these products are not available online. Can you please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the specific product you’re looking for and the area you live in? We’d be happy to look into the availability of whichever products you are interested in.

Hello,

I think that In Kind products aren't being stocked in my local safeway anymore. They used to carry the sunflower seed leave-in conditioner, and the face lotion, but now the only product they carry is the hand soap. Is there a way to get my safeway to reorder these products?

by on ‎08-20-2012 01:52 PM

We’d be happy to submit a request for you, Adira! Please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the location of your local store.

Hi Veronica-Brands,

Here is the update I just posted to Facebook:

So just a random thing. I have been looking for a good moisturizer for my face. It is a perpetual hunt to find something that won't make me break out or cause an allergic reaction, or makes me look oily or etc, etc, etc. If you have sensitive skin you get it. Anyway I think I have finally found something really good. I have tried many more expensive products but this is what I like the best. It is a Safeway brand and I am super happy with it!
http://community.safeway.com/t5/Our-Blog/Be-Kind-to-Yourself-with-In-Kind/ba-p/2440

Thanks for making such a great and affordable product! Can you direct me to a web page that talks about each product in the line. I want to know more about the brand and what is available. Right now I have the facial cleanser, the face lotion and the night cream. I don't have it in front of me so I can't recall for sure if the daytime face lotion has sunscreen. I feel like it doesn't, do you carry a lotion with sunscreen in it?

Thanks Again,

Lisa in Portland

Also, if you email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the store location you shop at, we’ll be happy to look into the availability of a facial cream with sunscreen for you. We look forward to hearing from you :smileyhappy:

Hello, I just recently moved from Phoenix to San Diego, where Safeway is under the Vons label instead. I've been buying the In Kind Volume shampoo (green bottle) at Safeway for a few months now and really liked it but can't find it at the local Vons stores. Any suggestions? Can I order it online instead?

by Mary(anon) on ‎08-25-2012 02:21 PM

I LOVE your In-Kind shampoo & conditioner. I live in Bend, Oregon and was told by the Century Safeway that Safeway has discontinued this product. Is this true?

by maestra olivia(anon) on ‎08-27-2012 12:08 PM

Just wondering what kind of SPF your facial moisterizer has?  On the list of ingredients I saw that it contains titanium dioxide, which I love as a sunscreen, but it was way at the end of the list.  Is it in sufficient concentration to offer real sun protection?  I just bought your product today and can't wait to try it!!

by on ‎08-27-2012 04:47 PM

We apologize for the inconvenience, Kristy and we’d be happy to look into this for you. Please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the location of your local store.

by on ‎08-27-2012 04:47 PM

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Mary! We do show recent sales of In-Kind Moisturizing Shampoo and In-Kind Moisturizing Conditioner at stores in your area. Your feedback will be directed to our Buyers for further review and future consideration.

by Asha(anon) on ‎08-28-2012 08:40 AM

I like the In-kind Sensitive Skin soat and Curl Care Conditioner and Shampoo, but all the Safeway's near me no longer carry it.  Do you still make these products?

by on ‎08-30-2012 08:21 AM

Maestra Olivia, can you please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with more details about which of our facial moisturizers you are referring to? We’d be happy to look into this for you. We look forward to hearing from you :smileyhappy:

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Asha! We’d be happy to look into this for you and we apologize for the inconvenience. Please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the location of your local store.

It seems all the Safeways in the Sacramento, CA area are getting rid of the In-Kind products. Why is that? Surely you know. Why not just tell us?

It's really too bad, because it's a wonderful product. I've ADORED everything about the loions and soaps -- even if they are but pricey...especially the strong scents! So NICE to have a scent that lasts!!

by docpooh(anon) on ‎08-30-2012 12:42 PM

I really appreciate your Just for You weekly deals.  I recently moved and the Safeway near me will sometimes run out of the products on sale.  I don't mind getting a raincheck, but I was told by customer service that the store doesn't issue rainchecks until the final day of the sale (which this was not)!  So, if a person is only able to grocery shop on a Thursday and the store has already run out of a product that will be on sale until the next Tuesday, they are simply out of luck and will miss the deal.  Unless, of course, they can somehow rearrange their schedule, etc. to try to get back to the store on or before Tuesday.  And even then, they may only be able to get a raincheck since the product may still be out.  Who wants to make a special trip just to get a raincheck?   How inconsiderate of the elderly and others who want to shop at Safeway for the great deals, but are being denied the opportunity to save due to the store's own lack of foresight and concern!  Is this now standard Safeway policy?  My store is located  at 3550 Fruitvale Ave. in Oakland.

by KayEllEmm(anon) on ‎08-31-2012 04:33 PM

I'm a disabled veteran. With that in mind: It seems that I can't order from Safeway online any of your IN-KIND products for purchase through your grocery delivery service. I couldn't even locate the product @ Safeway onine using the search feature. Is it available through your grocery delivery?

by on ‎09-03-2012 04:02 PM

KayEll, we appreciate you leaving us your feedback on the In Kind products disappearing from our store’s shelves. If you could email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the store location you shop at the most and the In Kind products you’d like to see come back to the shelves, we’d be happy to submit a formal product request for these items on your behalf!

by on ‎09-03-2012 04:02 PM

Hi docpooh. We’re glad you’re enjoying the Just For U program. Also, we’ll forward your comments regarding our Rain Check policy to the Store Manager for further review. All Rain Checks are subject to the Store Manager’s final discretion.

by on ‎09-05-2012 08:51 AM

KayEllEmm, our online availability reflects what is currently on the shelves of the Safeway store that delivers to your zip code. Some products may be available in some areas and not in others. Please write us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com and include your Club Card information so that we may investigate whether or not these products should be available online.

I tried the in-kind anti frizz cream and am in love!  I've been trying tons of anti frizzproducts for my curly hair and nothing has kept me satisfied.  Now when I go to my local Safeway, I can't find this product anywhere.  Is it discontinued or is it just that my store might not be carrying that specific product anymore?

by Arizona customer(anon) on ‎09-12-2012 09:13 AM

I love that your products are so natural but I think the fragrence is way too strong in the Verbena extract hand soap.  Natural or not, please tone it down some. Thank you.

by on ‎09-13-2012 09:21 AM

We’re glad to hear you enjoy this product, Artteacher! Please let us know which store you shop at most often. You can e-mail us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com. We’d like to investigate this matter for you. Thanks!

by on ‎09-13-2012 04:45 PM

Thank you for bringing your feedback to our attention, Arizona. We will direct your comments to our Corporate Brands Team for review and future consideration.

by Sheila(anon) on ‎09-29-2012 10:44 AM

Can we get more information posted on the In Kind line? It seems everyone is constantly saying they can't get what they want, and all they get is the canned response to email safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com. The information of availability and what has been discontinued should be readily available to you. I can't get the items I want anymore either, and no one is of any help at the local store. Can you please post a master list of items, and which ones are discontinued?

Thank you.

by on ‎10-04-2012 08:52 AM

We appreciate your feedback, Sheila and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Unfortunately, we do not have a master list of available I-Kind products because the availability of any product varies in different geographical locations. We ask that those looking for a specific item email us with the location of their local store, so we can further research the product they’re interested in.

by brad(anon) on ‎10-17-2012 07:33 AM

I have very sensitive skin and was drawn to the tea tree shampoo because it smells great and lists the percentage of natural ingredients.  My local Safeway hasnt had any in months so I switched to the almond.  Now they havent had ANY of the shampoos for months.  What gives?  iIs it in short supply?

by Beatriz(anon) on ‎10-18-2012 01:38 PM

The shampoo and conditioner are great, but the packing is terrible; very poorly designed. First, the plastic is very hard, which makes it very hard to squeeze the bottle. Add to that the fact that your hands are wet and you essentially have to use to hands to squeeze the shampoo out. I have been squeezing the bottle with both hands on my tigh and the, scrapping the product up and putting it on my head. Side note: I am a young woman with absolutely no problem with my hands and fingers and never had an issue with any other shampoo bottle. Again, I love the product, but won't be purchasing it anymore

by on ‎10-19-2012 08:32 AM

We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced, Brad and we’d like to look into this for you. Please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com with the location of your local store. We hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Beatriz, thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Please be assured that your comments will be shared with our Consumer Brands Department for their review.

I originally purchased your in-kind cactus moisturizing lotion because it was buy-one, get-one free.  I gave one to my daughter and I set one in our guest bathroom. We both have super sensitive skin and cannot use most lotions. The lotions that do not cause a reaction have no scent or smell like medication. :/  We love this product!

It's so funny because I will get a random sms message from a number that I don't recognize asking me where I purchased the cactus lotion because they have fallen in love with it and must get some.  My daughter lives six hours south of me and she put one in her private bath and one in her guest bath and now I have random people sending me messages asking me where they can also get the lotion.  This lotion is such a hit that I had to try the face moisturizer and give my daughter one as well.  Both my daughter and I have opted out of placing it in our guest bathroom because we love it that much.

Thank you for your feedback, Tina! We’re happy to hear your friends and family love our In-Kind products. We’ll be sure to forward your comments to our Consumer Brands Department for review. Have a great day  :smileyhappy:

I recently found the conditioner in a clearance bin in my local grocery store. I was amazed. :smileyvery-happy:In kind conditioner is the best i've ever used! It's leaves my hair feeling as if I just stepped out of a salon, amazingly soft. No lie, I love the stuff. I ran out and went to replace my newly found beloved conditioner and to my horror it is nowhere to be found! :smileysurprised:None in stock and no spot on the shelves to refill. :smileyfrustrated: I live in Riverside California so our safeway is Vons. I called 4 different Vons, none of them have it or a place to refill the stocks. No one seemed to know if it was discontinued. I've looked on line but can't seem to find a site to purchase it. Please someone help me! I'm desperate. I can't go back to unmanageable frizzy hair.:smileysad: Please tell me where I can buy In Kind conditioner and shampoo. :smileyhappy:

Hi! I have the Sensitive Body Lotion and Intensive Repair Lotion, are these noncomedogenic?

Thanks!

by on ‎11-16-2012 03:23 PM

Jenny, would you please email us at safewaysocialmedia@safeway.com and provide more details of the products in reference?  Thanks in advance.

by Myrna(anon) on ‎12-16-2012 08:31 PM

Hi,

I want to order 5 each In-Kind shampoos and conditioners (green color container).  I live near Safeway Capitol Expressway in San jose.  Please don't discontinue it - they are the greatest hair product I have tried.

Thanks,

Myrna

by on ‎12-17-2012 04:30 PM

Hi Myrna, unfortunately, the In Kind Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner (in the green bottles) have been discontinued. We will be sure to let our Consumer Brands Team know that you would like to see this product make a comeback. We appreciate your feedback!

by marleigh(anon) on ‎12-17-2012 09:06 PM

The acai nighttime firming moisturizer is AMAZING! I got it last week and have been using it every night since. I'm addicted. I add a little jojoba oil, too. My skin looks very nice.

by on ‎12-18-2012 12:16 PM

Thanks Marleigh.  We will let the Corporate Brands Department know how much you enjoy the moisturizer.

by Linsan53(anon) on ‎01-03-2013 07:30 AM

I love your product. I live in Denver and Denver winters leave my skin so stinkin' dry. This product really helps.

I bought the 24 oz. moisturizing body wash and I have an issue with the bottle. The shape is such that any soap on your hands makes the bottle slip out of your hands (the bottle is really not suited to the average female hand) and crash to your feet, and the plastic is so difficult to squeeze that it takes 2 hands to get it onto your washcloth or bath mitt. I am currently decanting it to a Trader Joe's bodywash bottle so that I can continue to use the product. Hope to see something a little easier to use in the future- maybe a thinner, more squeezable bottle.

by Rebecca Husted(anon) on ‎01-12-2013 08:02 PM

Very frustrating that none of the Safeway locations around me carry the IN-KIND Natural Hand Soap any longer.  I've emailed to request SafewaySocialMedia already.  Why is it so difficult to allow us to just order this online?

by LMO(anon) on ‎01-13-2013 02:52 PM

I Iive in Portland Oregon and shop at the Woodstock Store area code 97202.
I was in love with your In-Kind Anti-Frizz hair cream, that has now totally disappeared from every store across Washington, California and Oregon. Why?
Please bring it back! Please let me know where I can get some. This weather we have in Portland has only ever been tamed by that cream.

Please advise when it will return!
THank you
Lisa Mae
