Freeze Dance!

Here’s an easy antidote to a winter evening indoors – a game of freeze dance! Gabby brought this one home from school and I love it because it’s simple and good exercise for everyone. One person is the “DJ”, they turn the music on and off, the other players dance until the DJ stops the music and then the dancers must freeze. You’re out if you don’t freeze or move before the music starts again. This game is good for some giggles as the girls get pretty creative with their dance moves. What are some of your favorite indoor activities for kids?

We're trying to eat healthier and watch calories and sodium, however the items I purchased from the Safeway bakery in plastic clamshells did not have nutritional info on the labels. The ingredients were listed but not calories or sodium or any other necessary info.  Where can I find this?

Hi Laura,
All of our bakeries have a nutritional statement book behind the bakery counter. Just bring the product you are interested in up to the bakery counter and any bakery clerk will be happy to look up the product for you, and let you read the nutritional information. The book is arranged by UPC's that's why the clerk needs to look it up for you. If for some reason they can't find the information immediately, they will take your name and number and we will get the information back to you the next day.
