Memorial Day

Does anyone else have Spring/Summer fever?  While our weather is still surprisingly a little “iffy” it has definitely shifted to more sunny/warm than not which makes me itchy to get outside!   Fortunately I have some vacation time coming.   My mom, sister and brother-in-law are coming into town Memorial Day weekend so we have a lot of activities planned - a minor league baseball game (cheaper than a movie now!), picking cherries at a local farm, a visit to one of the nearby amusement parks, and lots of grilling.   What are your plans for the long weekend?

Looking to do a little house remodeling so we're moving furniture this weekend, but we had a great family party too, complete with wine and vittles from Safeway. We'll fly our flag today and take a moment to remember those folks who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy a life of freedom back home. Have a great Memorial Day.
