I understand the contest is being held in Pleasanton, CA. on May 15.  Is it possible to sign up to be part of the audience?  I would enjoy being present but not as one of the chefs competing....

Can someone explain how to enter because this link sends you to the Facebook page and when you click on the link it sends you back to the same page. It is a circular link which dies not send you to an application.

I have some question about the Safeway's Next Chef.

I read the rules of the competition, but I'm not sure about something.

1) Can you use two skillets when you cooking your meal.

2) 2 stove tops are Ok or you have to use just 1

Thank you very much

We appreciate your interest, Ricster. Unfortunately, the cook-off will be closed to the public and invite only.

Thanks for your inquiry, Pasakom. The meal must just be finished in a single skillet or sauté pan, and be served on/in a single plate/bowl. The rest is up to you. Good luck!
