Have you seen this new item in the Bakery yet? They are delicious! I’ve been adding chocolate chips to my pumpkin bread for years, something about the warm spices and the chocolate just works for the fall. And honestly, what doesn’t taste better with a little chocolate! This cookie is soft, kind of muffin like, with plenty of chocolate chips. Baked fresh right in the store, they will be available through December. Give them a try and let me know what you think!

  Aren't they delicious? I think they make the ultimate "hostess gift" for a Thanksgiving or holiday gathering. So moist and rich in pumpkin flavor! I'm glad you enjoyed them as much as I did! :-)

I LOVE THESE!!!  Just bought some with my dd's yesterday (after arguing about sugar cookies vs chocolate chip cookies) and found it hard not to eat them all!  I just had one with my coffee, because- let's be honest, they're more muffin-y than cookie-y :smileyhappy:

 

I am sooooo happy to see the recipe!!  I will be making 100 batches today.

This doesn't have anything to do with your recent post, but have to say, I am loving the new "Just for U" program that Safeway (Dominicks in Chicago) has introduced.  These days, every little bit of savings count! And, I love as I go through the self checkout to hear that friendly voice tell me what I am saving.

 

The recipe looks yummy!  Will have to try that soon!
